The short version: our apps keep your data on your iPhone and talk only to services you choose — never to a server of ours; we don't have one that stores user data. Passportrait and Daycoat run entirely on device; JetPilot connects only to your own JetKVM hardware and, if you opt in, JetKVM's cloud. No accounts, no analytics, no trackers — in the apps or on this website.
Rigwig LLC is a software company registered in New Jersey, USA. This policy covers our iPhone apps — Passportrait (passport photo compliance checking), Daycoat (personal weather-comfort outfit recommendations), and JetPilot (a remote for JetKVM devices) — and the rigwig.org website. Passportrait captures photos you take and reads photos you choose from your library, with your permission through Apple's standard photo and camera access prompts. All analysis — face detection, measurements, background and lighting checks, and reading photo metadata such as capture date — happens on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks.
The export unlock is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and provides us no personal payment details. Restoring the unlock on a new device goes through Apple's standard restore mechanism; we keep no purchase records of our own.
The app may download a current copy of the official photo specification (measurement rules) from our server at launch, so rule changes reach you without an app update. This request carries no personal information or photo data. Standard technical logs for that request (such as IP address) may be briefly retained by our hosting provider for security and then discarded.
Daycoat asks for your location, with your permission through Apple's standard location prompt, for one purpose: fetching your local forecast. The location is passed to Apple's WeatherKit service, which returns the weather; Apple's handling of that request is described in Apple's own privacy terms. We never receive your location — the request goes from your device to Apple, not through us.
What you log — outfits, day plans, comfort ratings, notes, and the weather snapshot saved alongside each entry — is stored on your device and, when you are signed into iCloud, synced through your own private iCloud database so your history follows you across your devices. That database belongs to your Apple account: Apple encrypts it in transit and at rest, and we have no access to it — we operate no servers and cannot read, receive, or recover your logs. You can turn syncing off for Daycoat in iOS Settings under your name → iCloud. The recommendation model runs entirely on your devices, learning from that history. There are no accounts of ours; if you export a backup, the file is saved where you choose and never passes through us.
The Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, the Apple Watch app, and Siri answers are all generated on your devices from the same data. Fetching the forecast for them uses the same Apple WeatherKit request described above; nothing else leaves the device.
The daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; we run no push server and transmit nothing to deliver them. When iCloud sync is on, Apple's own infrastructure may send silent background messages to your devices so changes sync promptly — those come from Apple's iCloud service, not from us.
JetPilot is a remote-control and management app for JetKVM devices. It connects to hardware you own and, at your option, to JetKVM's cloud service. Rigwig operates no servers for JetPilot and receives none of your data.
Device addresses you enter, and the passwords and access tokens for your devices, are stored on your iPhone — secrets in the iOS Keychain, the device list in the app's private storage. They are sent only to the JetKVM device or cloud you are connecting to, never to us.
With your permission, through Apple's standard local-network prompt, JetPilot uses Bonjour to discover JetKVM devices on your network. That discovery stays on your network.
The screen video you view and the keyboard and mouse input you send travel between your iPhone and your JetKVM device. On your local network that connection is direct; if you choose a cloud connection, it is relayed through JetKVM Cloud. Either way, Rigwig is not part of the path.
If you sign in to JetKVM Cloud, you authenticate with JetKVM's own service — operated by the makers of JetKVM, not Rigwig — which may use a third-party identity provider such as Google. The resulting session is stored in your iPhone's Keychain and sent only to JetKVM's servers. Your use of JetKVM Cloud is governed by JetKVM's own privacy policy and terms.
Our apps have no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no trackers. We do not collect your name, contact details, location, identifiers, or usage data.
rigwig.org is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties — every page is served whole from our own hosting. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security purposes.
If you email support, we receive your address and message and use them only to help you. We don't add you to any list.
Our apps and site are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Material changes to how an app handles data will also be noted in that app's App Store release notes.
